"Jesus said: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.""

"I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). Jesus didn't just show a way to live; He is the way. Purpose isn't found by looking inward but by looking to Him and asking, "What would You have me do?"

Jesus called ordinary people - fishermen, tax collectors, zealots - and gave them extraordinary purpose. "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." Purpose flows from relationship. First we know Him, then we discover what He created us to do.

The call isn't primarily to a career but to a Person. Whether you're a teacher, banker, parent, or student, you're called first to be a disciple. From that identity, your unique purpose unfolds. "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
